TECHNIQUES…
My training and experience includes all manner of application techniques from
traditional to airbrushing. I was also trained in hair-styling to ensure a polished
finished look for my clients who desire this service.
MORE ABOUT ME…
My career in the public eye began when I was 15 months old. Mom
entered me in a local beauty pageant where I stole the show setting
the path for my future. Around 3 years old I discovered mom’s
make-up. My first experiment with this of course was less than
perfection but gave everyone a good laugh.
As
I got older my focus shifted from pageants to the modeling/acting
business. Traveling this road I had the opportunity to meet, work
with and learn from professional makeup artists. Working in front
of and behind the camera gave me perspective for what looked good
and what looked great with different lighting, sets and colors in
combination with fashion.
I
attended the American Institute of Cosmetology to become an Esthetician.
I felt it was important to have a firm foundation in the anatomy
of skin and skin care techniques on which makeup application is built.
After obtaining my State of Florida Esthetician Licensure I continued
my training at Cosmix where I learned the basics through advanced
application techniques of all makeup mediums. My instructors were
some of the leading Makeup Artists in the entertainment industry
working with the “A” listers
of Hollywood like Jennifer Lopez and Tom Hanks to name a few.
I
now own and operate my own business Summer’s Beauty. I offer
a wide range of personalized services for my clients where my goal
is to exceed your highest expectations. My advanced training in skin
care provides me with a competitive edge that other Makeup Artists
may not have. My personal experience as a professional model and
actress has also given me a keen eye for fashion and personal image
