When you have booked.....
Upon booking you will be asked if you require a patch test. Mainly required if you have sensitive skin or allergic to spray tans
....You will also receive a small pack in the post prior to your appointment of how to get prepared for your tan and how to maintain your tan, once you have been sprayed.
Exfoliation on the day is essential to give the spray solution the best chance of taking to your skin
Other preparations need to be done the day before or at least 24hrs before the tan (You will find out all of this in your pack)
You will also be requested to sign a form identifying any skin allergies your aware of and for my client records to remind me what skin type you have and what solution you used. This is so I am well prepared for when you book your next spray tan and aware of any skin irritation which may effect the tan......I have really sensitive skin myself but i have had no problems with any of the tanning solutions I use.
If you are in the first 3months of a pregnancy I would advise not to get a spray tan until you have been pregnant for more then 3 months (into your second trimester) I was 4 months pregnant when I had a spray tan and had no problems with the tan itself and it had no effects on my baby during the pregnancy or after......Please call me if you wish to discuss
